Francis Marion Holland was born July 23, 1842 in Benton County., TN. He died Aug. 20, 1928 in Barber AR. Her was married to Emeline Arnold who was born April 15, 1848 in Benton Cointy., TN also. She died Jan. 1, 1906 in Barber AR.

Their son, Walter E. Holland was born Jan. 15, 1869 in Benton, County, TN. He Died Jan 1, 1946 in Plainview, AR. His wife was Sarah Elizabeth Bobbit. She was born June 13, 1869 in Sebastian County, AR and married Walter Aug. 8, 1886. She died June 20, 1950 in Danville, AR. Sarah Elizabeth's parents were Felix Monroe Bobbit and Celia Ramsey. Felix was born June 2, 1847 in TN and died Ap. 17, 1937 in Barber, AR. Celia Ramsey was born April, 1847 in TN and died June 14, 1877 in Sebastian County, AR.

Ova, known as "Ovie" (or "Granny" to my cousins, Frances & Jay, and myself) - born June 28, 1897 in Barber, AR. She was a one-room-school-house teacher. She married Olive James Fergeson, a lawyer and farmer, on June 16, 1921. They lived in Havana, AR. During the Depression they moved to Baltimore, MD with their 3 children. Afterwards they moved to Danville, AR where they lived until they passed away. Their children are James Oliver, Mary Katherine & Virginia Ann. (More on them below.)
Marie - born on Sept. 27, 1906 in Rover, AR. She married Sam Adkisson, a banker on July 14, 1924. They lived in Conway, AR. They had one son, Sam Robert Adkisson, born Oct. 20, 1926 in Plainview, AR.
Olaf Walter was born March 29, 1909 in Onyx, AR. Walter was a journalist for the United Nations. He retired in Florida.

James Oliver Fergeson was born to Ovie and Olive James (Jim) Fergeson March 8, 1923 in Havana AR. He became a surgeon and resides in Sarasota, Florida. He married Mary Jim Kaiser from N. Little Rock, AR. James Oliver, Jr. (Jay) Fergeson is their son. He was born Sept. 29, 1948 in Rochester, MN, while Jim was doing his residency at the Mayo Clinic. Jay (a lawyer) and his wife, Robyn Tacey and their 2 sons, Adam and Matthew, live in Sarasota, Florida.

Mary Katherine Fergeson was born to Ovie and Jim next on Nov. 27, 1924, in Havana, AR. She became a teacher and librarian. She married Robert Compton Keathley (Bob) and lived in Danville, AR. Bob was a farmer and hero to Linda & Jay, who saw him as a "real cowboy". They had one daughter, Mary Frances Keathley, on Jan. 24, 1953. She and her husband, Tom Brown, an architect from Ft. Smith, AR, married Feb. 7, 1981, and live in Houston, TX with their 3 children: Robert, Elizabeth and Meredith.

Virginia Ann Fergeson was born to Ovie and Jim on Oct. 29, 1926, in Havana, AR. Virginia graduated from Hendrix College in Conway, AR and became a teacher. She married Bernard Jones Reed, a lawyer from Lonoke, AR. They had a daughter, Linda Ann Reed (myself) on March 24, 1947. Later she married Ottis C. Morris, a U. S. Forester from Georgetown, LA, born May 30, 1922.. They had one son, James Clinton (Clint) Morris, born Nov. 29, 1963. Linda married and became a nurse in Loreauville, LA and New Orleans, LA. She married Aylmer Lee Morgan III. Their children are: Scott Ingles, Betty Lee, Aylmer Lee IV, Frances Berry and Ollie Sean Morgan. Clint married Bobbie Sue Saunders on Dec. 30, 2000. Their daughter, Paige Renee, was born March 17, 2002.
